On the Road Again.
West
Hi to all our friends once again Bianka and I hope you all have had a great Xmas and a good start for 2013.(this is late coming sorry)
I must say first I did not finish our blog for the year 2012 due to car problems and not having much to write about as we virtually traveled straight home from Darwin via Brisbane, in Melbourne we once again stayed at our Daughters place, till Easter and had a great stay as usual, but tiring, never stopped visiting.
So now we are on the road again this is our fifth year running.
We traveled from Melbourne to Adelaide, (stayed for one night as I wanted the hydrolic jack looked at), then along the Nullarbor, stopping only at free-camps overnight.

Ceduna for the Anzac Day service, trip was uneventful, weather was fine and the wind low.

Norseman to Coolgardie and free-camped at B0delin not a bad spot, for chicken and chips at the servo, onto Perth to see Paul and Fran at Mount Helene, nice couple of days catching up, shopping etc. than the Great Northern highway and what a highway? I think it is the busiest for roadtrains and lonely not much to sight see, you just drive and drive
Our first stop along side the road, with 4 big 50 metre road trains and road trains traveling past all night, but we slept alright.
Than Mount Magnet and some, (what we thought might be of interest), sight seeing turned out to be a 37km flop, not much to see.

Straight though Port Hedland next stop The Greys free-camp and its dust, found a nice spot but ended up shifting, next morning due to some &%$#)**^ nice person with a Genny and its loudness all night.
Did an oil change here stayed for 2 nights very hot during the day 35degrees nice at night though.

Eighty Mile Beach next 2 nigts fished and had a few bites caught nothing, so did everybody else on the beach, I think it was the wind, my excuse and I will stick with that
Barn Hill next 3nights, first day hot 33degrees, and we thoroughly washed the van and Car, that night it rained and made the dust into nice solid ground for when we left so the car and van stayed clean "hooray" had a nice spot on the cliff top.

Where going to stay in a free-camp prior to Broome but ended up going in one day early and just as well, that night we had 54mm of rain and the next thank goodness it was warm.
So here we are in Broome now and have been for the last 3 weeks and intend to be here a little while yet.
So far we have done the Market, seen the Stairway to the moon again, watched the Sunset with fish and chips, shopping and Happy hour with Marilyn and Ian every night great life.
